French inspired & a challenge completed

Hi all,

I hope today finds you doing well. The weather has been gorgeous here for the past few days...beautiful sunshine...not hot, just a soft breeze and highs around 80 degrees...birds chirping, dragonflies soaring and bees buzzing...glorious days, indeed!

I have been working on potting various herbs...cause I've always wanted an herb garden...and now I have pots of aromatic herbs sitting all around my back porch...a feast for the senses of sight and smell...and I'm lovin' it!

I do have a vinyl project that I finally got done...I have wanted to take one of my "party buckets" and turn it into a French inspired planter...here is the results...tell me what you think...

Next, I'm a member of a Yahoo Group and one of the moderators issued a challenge (and you KNOW I gotta play when challenged - LOL)...to make something using a cut file she created...which is the viewfinder file...I decided to make a mini...I still have to complete the inside...LOL

Here is my completed challenge...how's it look??

Everything I have cut...the vinyl, the papers for the folders (my file)...the print & cuts...the butterfly...the challenge file...EVERYTHING was cut on my Silver Bullet Professional cutter...it is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I love the combination of the SB Pro and SCAL - my choice software for cutting with!

Well...let me know what you think...

I thank you for taking a few moments out of your day to spend with me and I pray you have a blessed and creative day!

Until later,

Wedding Foiled & Vintage Simplicity

Hi all,

I hope you are having a wonderful week! Ready for the weekend?? I know I am!

It's now Friday morning and I have a wedding to attend this weekend. Nothing like waiting until the last minute to get your card made, now is there??  LOL Well, I have been playing with my new Foil Master that I got from Sherri at That's Scrap, Inc....and oh my, how much fun it is!!! And the variety of foils she has available are beyond amazing!

For this card I used the Silver Spectre foil that she carries for the outside custom monogram I made for the couple and on the inside, for the sentiment, I used the black foil.

Isn't it gorgeous?? I will most assuredly be making more items with my Foil Master!

Next on the agenda, I also have a birthday card that I needed to make and I wanted to go with a vintage sewing feel...so here is what I came up with...

Doesn't this just scream vintage simplicity??? LOL Okay, that was really bad, but fun, none-the-less!

Well, that is my offerings for today. I thank you for taking a few moments out of your day to stop by and spend them with me. I hope you will do so again really soon.

Until then, I pray you have a blessed and creative day!

New Adventure

Hi all!

Wanted to drop you a line or two and share a new adventure I'm on! With the encouragement of my friends Penny Duncan (who has also designed some AWESOME files and has them on her Etsy store), Gigi Gleason and Sherri Jensen, I have been working on files that will work well with the tools that go with the Silver Bullet Professional, a machine that I am beyond ecstatic to own! This is such a versatile machine to work with...oh my goodness...the things it is capable of.

Thank you, my wonderful and supportive friends...I so very much appreciate your unending patience and encouragement...I'm glad I took the leap!

If you have a machine capable of doing or using the tools to engrave, etch, distress or even draw, you too, can use the files I have been designing. Each file comes in the following formats: SVG/DXF/PDF/EPS/SCUT3

Here is a look at the tools used for the files I created.

Here is a pic of my wonderful machine using the Etching Tool...the design I am showing is not in this collection, but I'm sure I will have it in another soon...

Here is the link to the collection on my Etsy store if, by chance, you are so inclined to take a peek.
There are 17 files available in this collection...

The pics aren't fabby by any stretch of the imagination - some aren't even finished pieces (ie:cards / framed)...several I have done only as a trial run to make sure everything jived...but I did try to at least take a pic of some of them to give you an idea of what's available...LOL Sorry, I will try to be better in the future...promise, I will try!

This is the Tribal Hummingbird on pink shimmer vellum.

I thank you for stopping by and spending a little time with me. I hope you will do so again really soon.

Until then, have a blessed and creative day!
