13 Days of Halloween - Challenge 13 - the FINALE...

Final challenge of the 13 Days of Halloween - and man, oh, man has it been loads of fun!

For the finale the rules are:
Merge your ghouls, take two, three or as many images as you'd like, make them black and White and one other color..Flesh must be black & white... no flesh tones!
Lips can be colored IF you choose that as your other color!
Any you have to use SBS images.

For my final card - I had to use steampunk - totally love these!
I used the Gwendolyn and Mercuis digis from
and my optional color is Raisin (a deep purple-y red)
I figured this might just make a great Thanksgiving card...

I used my Silver Bullet Pro to cut the digi images out in a shape using one of Penny Duncan's Shaplies, used the next size up to cut as a mat and then the largest, I duplicated / unioned and made those into a card.  I colored the digis with my Copics using my C & N colors.

Well this is the last challenge, and although it has been kinda hectic with the last few, it has been a blast!

So, until I see you again, have a blessed and creative day!

13 Days of Halloween - Day / Challenge 4

Hey y'all, I'm back today with another offering...

Simply Betty Stamps has kicked off her 13 Days of Halloween Challenges - just click on the blinky button over to the right and you will be taken to her blog with the challenges...I would love for you to play along with me!

So the 4th challenge is to make a toe tag and anything goes. Well, you do have a specific size (4" x 2.5") and you do need to use a Simply Betty Image. LOL

So for mine, I decided to use the Tea Time Tammy digi. She's part of the Lady Killers set. Isn't she just so calm, cool and collected??

I used my Silver Bullet Pro to cut the digi image out (using the print & cut method in SCAL) and colored them with my Copics. The toe tag that is used as an embellishment I found online as a blank one and filled the information in the blanks using SCAL. Used the same method of print & cut and then added some distressing to the edges and some Vintage Photo ink from TH.

For the actual background toe tag, I used a black piece of DCWV silky smooth cardstock cut to the appropriate size, ran it through my embossing machine with an embossing folder...distressed it a little and rubbed Barn Door ink (TH also) into the "exposed" areas...sprinkled on some embossing powders (detail clear & kaleidoscope), then heated them up until the whole tag was embossed with them, giving it the wonderful color you see.

Put them all on together...and voila'...a toe tag!

So I guess this will be my entry for the 4th challenge...why don't you come play along with me??

Until the next challenge...I hope you have a blessed and creative day!

I will also be entering this in:

13 Days of Halloween - Challenge 1

Hey y'all, I'm back today with another offering...

Simply Betty Stamps has kicked off her 13 Days of Halloween Challenges - just click on the blinky button over to the right and you will be taken to her blog with the challenges...I would love for you to play along with me!

So the 1st challenge is to "do your own spooky background". And, just tell me, what could be spookier than a huge skeleton hand coming down to pick a wee little Rio Gone Batty up out of a cage...ewwww...creepy to me!

The chicken wire background is cut from a Halloween paper from my stash with my Silver Bullet Pro

So I guess this will be my entry for the 1st challenge...why don't you come play along with me??

Until the next challenge...I hope you have a blessed and creative day!
