Romance Annie

Hello all, today I'm so excited to showcase one of the fabulous Steampunk Romance Digis by Abigail Larson available exclusively at SBS. The images from this collection are nothing short of fantastic!

Today I am showing Romance Annie.

Since I'm in the middle of my Christmas Card making, I thought to have this beauty ready for a party. So she has a little extra "sparkle" added to her.

I used my Silver Bullet professional and SCAL combo to do a print and cut of the digi and then colored her with my copics. I used the 6x6 paper pad from My Minds Eye called Christmas for the designer papers. The embellishments were pulled from my stash.

The copic colors used were:

E00,25,29,50,53,93
N2,4,6,8,10
G40,43,46,85,99
R14,22,27,59

Don't forget about our challenge for this month...it's "Anything Steampunk". So, grab an image - either stamp or digi - and the bits and bobs of steampunk world, and play along. We would love it if you chose an SBS image, but it's not required. I hope you will join in on the fun and we love to see your art!

Until next time, I wish you a blessed and creative day!

Persephone

Challenge of the Goddesses

The amazing Betty of Simply Betty Stamps and Tamara of The Stamping Chef have created two awesome digis to use for a “challenge”. This is the 3rd collaboration of these two fantastic artists!

Here is Persephone by Betty of Simply Betty Stamps (be sure to check out my other challenge entry using Nile Goddess by Tamara of The Stamping Chef)

The challenge is: Anything Goes...that I can do! LOL

So, here is my lovely Persephone, all ready for a Christmas Bash...
She is colored with copics...and I forgot to write down my colors...sorry!

I did her the same way I always do, brought her into SCAL and I did a Print & Cut with my Silver Bullet Pro.

The designer papers are from a 6x6 pad by MME called Christmas...and I love this paper pad! It's almost gone...I'm trying to salvage all my scraps! LOL

Thanks for taking the time out of your day to pay me a visit...until later...
I wish you a blessed and creative day!

I made the "Christmas Tree" from needle like cutouts that I cut with my Silver Bullet Professional Cutter...they cut like butter out of regular scrapbook paper and no tearing! LOL And the bicycle is a cut file from SVGCuts.com.

Grace was brought into my software (SCAL) and cut out with the Print & Cut method on my SBPro and then colored with Copics.

Copics used:
Skin - E00,50,53,93
Hair - E70,74,79
Green - G43,94,99
Red - R20,24,29
Belt - E33,18

I hope you will stop by the rest of the Design Team's blogs and leave some love...their creations are awesome, as always!

Until later, I hope you have a blessed and creative day!

13 Days of Halloween - Day / Challenge 6

Hey y'all, I'm back today with another offering...

Simply Betty Stamps has kicked off her 13 Days of Halloween Challenges - just click on the blinky button over to the right and you will be taken to her blog with the challenges...I would love for you to play along with me!

So for the 6th challenge it's a creepy Christmas treat bag or gift box. You need to use a Simply Betty Halloween or Christmas image and creep it out... LOL

So for mine, I decided to use Santa's Helper Rio. She's part of the Teen Scene Jolly Christmas set and a Halloween treat box from Bird's Cards. I used Christmas papers for the box and Christmas colors for Rio...but I decided she needed to be a zombie...LOL That's my version of "creeping her out"!

I used my Silver Bullet Pro to cut the digi image out (using the print & cut method in SCAL) and colored "Zombie Rio" with my Copics. I also used my Silver Bullet Pro and SCAL to cut out the Halloween box "gone Christmas".

So I guess this will be my entry for the 6th challenge...why don't you come play along with me??

Until the next challenge...I hope you have a blessed and creative day!

13 Days of Halloween - Day / Challenge 5

Hey y'all, I'm back today with another offering...

Simply Betty Stamps has kicked off her 13 Days of Halloween Challenges - just click on the blinky button over to the right and you will be taken to her blog with the challenges...I would love for you to play along with me!

So the 5th challenge is Scary Women and anything goes. Well, you do need to use a Simply Betty Image. LOL

So for mine, I decided to use Bella The Vampire. She's part of the Steampunk Halloween Limited Digis set and let me tell ya', I'm lovin' me some Steampunk! lol

I think she makes a rather regal looking snowy Vampire Princess.  You know...she actually makes me think of Snow White......what do you think??

I used my Silver Bullet Pro to cut the digi image out (using the print & cut method in SCAL) and colored "her highness" with my Copics. I spritzed the entire background and part of Bella with a shimmer spray that I make. I was trying to have that foggy, snowy woodland type of feel to the card...did I succeed?? LOL

I'm thinking this might just be turned into a Christmas card for my stash...

So I guess this will be my entry for the 5th challenge...why don't you come play along with me??

Until the next challenge...I hope you have a blessed and creative day!
