Challenge Time at SSC...

Hi all,

It's Challenge time over at Simply Steampunk Challenges...we are having a ripping and tearing good time and I hope you will join in for a bit of Halloween type fun and rip and tear your way to an awesome prize!

I am showing Mr Gibbs Zombie Pirate drawn by the ever talented Abigail Larson and made digital through a collaboration with Betty Roberts of Simply Betty Stamps. This image is part of a larger group of creepy zombies appropriately named Zombies & Creeps.

He is colored with my Copics and the papers are from MME Wicked Merchant Malvado 6x6 pad. The embellishments are from my stash.

Please grab a Steampunk image - doesn't have to be a SBS image, but it would be awesome if you did use one - follow the rules - and play along. We love to see the various creations that you all make - you inspire us!

Don't forget to check out the other DT projects for this challenge:

Tragic Love at Simply Steampunk Challenges

It's time for our monthly challenge over at the Simply Steampunk Challenges blog...

Tragic Love is the theme.

I'm sharing Hades & Persephone 3 by the ever talented artist Abigail Larson. Her images are sold in digi format over at Simply Betty Stamps

The heart easel card is by Bird's Cards and the Steampunk Heart is a file I created and offered in a previous post for free. Both were cut using my Silver Bullet Professional. Flowers and accessories are from my stash.

Copics used:
E00,07,09,18,41,42,44,47,49,50,53,93
N0,2,4,6,8,10
R14

YG67
B01,12,14

So grab a steampunk image and play along...if you choose a Simply Betty digi, that will be even better...but not required. Use blood splatters, torn hearts, sad love images.  Show us your interpretation of a Tragic love, not a happy one this time around...remember Hades and Persephone, Romeo and Juliet, all the stories that weren't that happy!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a blessed and creative day!

Until later,

Romance Annie

Hello all, today I'm so excited to showcase one of the fabulous Steampunk Romance Digis by Abigail Larson available exclusively at SBS. The images from this collection are nothing short of fantastic!

Today I am showing Romance Annie.

Since I'm in the middle of my Christmas Card making, I thought to have this beauty ready for a party. So she has a little extra "sparkle" added to her.

I used my Silver Bullet professional and SCAL combo to do a print and cut of the digi and then colored her with my copics. I used the 6x6 paper pad from My Minds Eye called Christmas for the designer papers. The embellishments were pulled from my stash.

The copic colors used were:

E00,25,29,50,53,93
N2,4,6,8,10
G40,43,46,85,99
R14,22,27,59

Don't forget about our challenge for this month...it's "Anything Steampunk". So, grab an image - either stamp or digi - and the bits and bobs of steampunk world, and play along. We would love it if you chose an SBS image, but it's not required. I hope you will join in on the fun and we love to see your art!

Until next time, I wish you a blessed and creative day!
