Momento Mori...revisited

Today, at Simply Steampunk Challenges, we are launching a re-release of some of our favorite Steampunk images available from Simply Betty Stamps.

For my first piece, I chose Momento Mori. I think she is a very versatile image...

I have used my wonderful Silver Bullet Professional to cut her and the shadow layer out as well as the scrolled frame behind her. I have used crinkled ribbon and pearls from my stash. A timepiece from Hobby Lobby and designer paper from Prima - Engraver 6x6 pad.

She has been colored with my Copics and Promarkers as follows:
Skin: E50, 00, 53, 93
Hair: YR 20, 23, 27
Eyes: E15, 18, 29
Lips: R56, 59
Clothing: Promarkers Warm Grey 1, 3, 4, 5

Found something...

Hi all!

I found this lovely paper from Prima Marketing called Madeline Collection, and I fell in love with it. It has more of a shabby chic feel, which is not my usual choice with paper, but man-oh-man do I like this one! There are greens, pinks, browns and aquas...scrumptious. Soooo, I decided to actually use some of it instead of just LOOKING at it and I made a birthday card for my stash...

Sorry the pics aren't super - my camera and I are having issues!!

I used my fabulous Black Cat Lynx to cut the butterflies. The flowers, pearls and sentiment are from my stash.
