one more for Dad

Hi all!

Just thought I would have one more share for Dad before the big day!

I was going for the slight steampunk look...faux metal and all! I think I accomplished it...

...what do yo think?

I used various Tim Holts stamps and Distress Inks, miscellaneous background stamps, Distress crackle paint (rock candy), various Perfect Pearls, brad from my stash, my TH Tiny Attacher, and last but definitely least, my Black Cat Lynx.

Father's Day

 Hi all!

I hope and pray that today finds you well! 

I've had a little time to play in my studio ( haha...I wish!) seriously, it's a room that I share with the  ironing board and pantry...but hey, it's my play room!

Anywho, I have a couple of Father's Day cards made and still in the process of a couple more. The first is made with BoBunny papers, Tim Holtz stamps & distress inks, twine, computer printed sentiment and a ticket svg I made in MTC and cut with my Black Cat Lynx. (awesome machine, by the way)

 

The second card is made with My Minds Eye papers and Tim Holtz stamps and computer generated sentiments. This one is for my son (shhhh...don't tell). It suits his personality perfectly!!

Something a little different...

Hi all! I hope this finds you having a great day!

I wanted to share with you something so completely NOT paper related.

I love to design jewelry pieces and this is what I'm offering for today...

The first set (necklace and cuff) were made a couple of months ago...I was playing around with a few found pieces and was kinda going for a mild "steampunk" look....I hope I succeeded...

The second set, bracelet and necklace, are a copper set that was made to go with a pair of earrings I've had for, oh, maybe 5 years or so, and just never had anything that I could wear with them to make them a "set". (They are a teardrop hoop with coins hanging.) So I decided I would just make my own, and here is the result of that!

I hope you like them.

Granddaughter's Birthday

Hi all!

I hope this finds you having a wonderful day!

Short post showing my Granddaughter's birthday card...be kind, learning curve with my Promarkers...but, I WILL get there!! LOL

Today is her 5th birthday and we will be going to see her this weekend!! She's having a bowling party, so we will be taking her gift(s) AND her mom's (cause her birthday was the 29th). Can't wait to see them both, and of course, my son as well :D!!

Anywho, here are a couple of pics of her card...

Card base is AC Damask.
Green, pink and brown papers are Core'dinations.
Image is Saturated Canary - Beach Baby colored with Promarkers. 
Flowers, washi tape, gems and netting are from my stash.
