Tag...you're it!

Good Morning Y'all!

I hope all of those in Andrea's path aren't too rain soaked! I know we had a TON of rain from the girl, but other than that, it wasn't too bad on us.

Still sending prayers and good thoughts to all of those out in the mid-west that have been so ravaged by weather in the past few weeks.

Well....I have been rather busy in my everyday life for the past few weeks and don't see it slowing down for a couple  more...but, hey, that's a good thing! LOL

So, today I have a tag that I would like to share with you...my very 1st ever completed stand alone tag that was given to someone...yep, you heard that correctly...my very 1st! And on top of that...my very 1st fabric flower of this sort....yeppers...2 for 1! ROFL

So, you wanna see??

Well.....here ya go....hope you like her!

I had so much fun making her...and she was an "exchange" on the ArtHaven Yahoo group.

Here's the deets:

I used a standard shape for the tag, and a liner "tag" shape (Shabby Shape) for the background and a silhouette for the focal...ALL of which were cut using my fabulous Silver Bullet Professional electronic cutter!! Did I tell you it's on top of the TOP TEN list?? Oh yeah, I did...sorry...it's just soooo exciting, that I tend to repeat myself! And I used SCAL software...awesome, by the way! Works so perfectly with my SBP! The silhouette is lifted with pop dots to give her a more prominent position.

I added the flower....my first of this kind...and I'm sure it will NOT be my last! And lots of pretty, sparkly stones and some loopy pearls...the girl is now all prettied up!

Next I used my Crop-a-dile to punch the hole in the top for all of that yummy lace, ribbon and fuzzy trim...

And voila...there she is! My very 1st ever completely stand alone tag with my very 1st ever flower in this style!! Sooooo....whatcha think??

I'm attaching the files - my Shabby Shape & my Silhouette here for you to download if you would like to have them. All I ask is that you do not share/sell my files, but rather send them here to my blog to download for themselves. Thank you!

If you create something with the files, I would LOVE to see it!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by for a few. I hope my little Art offering my inspire you in some small way...

I hope and pray you have a safe and creative day!

Until next time,

Granddaughter's Birthday

Hi all!

I hope this finds you having a wonderful day!

Short post showing my Granddaughter's birthday card...be kind, learning curve with my Promarkers...but, I WILL get there!! LOL

Today is her 5th birthday and we will be going to see her this weekend!! She's having a bowling party, so we will be taking her gift(s) AND her mom's (cause her birthday was the 29th). Can't wait to see them both, and of course, my son as well :D!!

Anywho, here are a couple of pics of her card...

Card base is AC Damask.
Green, pink and brown papers are Core'dinations.
Image is Saturated Canary - Beach Baby colored with Promarkers.
Flowers, washi tape, gems and netting are from my stash.

Thanks for taking some time out of your day for a visit.

I hope you have a blessed and creative day and stop by again soon!
