PHun 4 Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Blog Hop

Welcome to our PHun 4 Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Blog Hop

We are sharing awareness on Pulmonary Hypertension,
and why early diagnosis is so important for PH patients.

Phun Phact:
Right-heart catheterization is one of the most accurate and useful tests to get a definitive diagnosis for pulmonary hypertension, and it is required to confirm diagnosis.

To learn more on this devastating illness, please visit

I am honored to be a participant in today's PHun 4 PH Awareness Blog Hop. If you have arrived from Karen's Blog then you are in the right place. However, if you just arrived...why don’t you start at Betty's Blog, so you don’t miss any of the amazing creations.

This fantastic image is courtesy of one of the sponsors -

Since the "color" of Pulmonary Hypertension is periwinkle - I chose to add bright yellow, pink and green to bring this beautiful image to life.

I used my Copics to color the image - the colors I used are:
Ribbon & Wing Tips - B63, BV02, BV04
Wings - Y06, 11, 13
Body - YG21, 23, 67
Spots - RV00, 19, 52, 55,63

In order to receive this fabulous free digi image from Betty, answer the following question and email the answer to:  simplyb10@aol.com with the subject Betty's Image

"How many treatments are FDA approved for children with PH?"

13 Days of Halloween - Challenge 13 - the FINALE...

Final challenge of the 13 Days of Halloween - and man, oh, man has it been loads of fun!

For the finale the rules are:
Merge your ghouls, take two, three or as many images as you'd like, make them black and White and one other color..Flesh must be black & white... no flesh tones!
Lips can be colored IF you choose that as your other color!
Any you have to use SBS images.

For my final card - I had to use steampunk - totally love these!
I used the Gwendolyn and Mercuis digis from
and my optional color is Raisin (a deep purple-y red)
I figured this might just make a great Thanksgiving card...

I used my Silver Bullet Pro to cut the digi images out in a shape using one of Penny Duncan's Shaplies, used the next size up to cut as a mat and then the largest, I duplicated / unioned and made those into a card.  I colored the digis with my Copics using my C & N colors.

Well this is the last challenge, and although it has been kinda hectic with the last few, it has been a blast!

So, until I see you again, have a blessed and creative day!

13 Days of Halloween - Challenge 12

Hey y'all, I'm back today with challenge #12...one more day to go....

So for the 12th challenge it's...
"A Halloween shaped card... anything but a square.
It must be in the shape of a Halloween item; pumpkin, witch hat, black cat, anything you can think of that is a Halloween shape!"
And a Simply Betty Stamps image, of course! LOL

I chose Cacklin London cookin' up her Wicked Witch of the West's Brew...with her flying monkey!
How flippin' scary were those flying monkeys in Oz?? O M Geeeee...
I used to have nightmares of those things! LOL

"I'll get you my pretty, and your little dog, too!!"

I used my Silver Bullet Pro to cut the digi image out (using the print-n-cut method in SCAL) and colored her with my Copics. I also used it to cut the flying monkey card from black cardstock.

One more to go...

Until tomorrow, the final challenge...
